This is a really neat and unique piece of pottery.  According to the markings on the bottom, this is a Mossy Creek, Oregon dish.  Mossy Creek is a reknown tourist area and many crafters make and sell their wares to visitors there.   Many items are one of a kind

This dish appears to have been imprinted with fish scales.  That was a popular art technique at different points of time.  It has a lovely blue glazing that fades to a light mossy green.  It has an irregular shaping but it does sit level on the table. 

  This would be a great gift for a hard to buy for person or keep it and see what your guests say about it!
