THE TRIPLE WILLOWS
There are three of us that have been crafting for many years now. But the story really begins with just one. Our mother has been sewing since she was five years old. That's over 80 years of experience! What began as a necessary, spare time activity to help her mother with mending and later, to keep her children in clothes, has become a wonderful business venture for her. She used to take in mending for extra money to buy material to make more clothes for her children. Others liked them so well, she soon began making other items. Her long ago acquired accomplishments has lead to a remarkable demand for her afghans, table linen sets, aprons and other handcrafted items. There is many a Christmas memory lingering in many hearts from her unique and well crafted gifts. Being her only daughters, we soon followed in her footsteps of crafting. Peg has a talent for artwork as well as for carpentry. She also seems to have a knack for drawing and or fixing just about anything! Her recognizable style of realistic images is found in the smallest of the details. It truly is her attention to detail and realism that hallmarks every piece she turns out. We haven't yet found anything artistic that she can't do but her specialty lies in painting and etching.

Snow represents our jewelry art. She found she had a knack for putting small beads into a creative and pleasing form of wearable art. She's using her spare time right now to learn the ancient craft of wire jewelry. We are very excited about her beginning pieces and can't wait to see more. Snow also does buckskin work and beaded glass stemware. Most of that craft is special order due to the length of time they take to create. Feel free to contact us to place an order if you know what you need or want. Our specialty is custom orders. It never fails that someone will ask, "Can you make that in red?" With such varied ability it isn't difficult to respond with a resounding "YES!" One of us can come up with what you want! Don't be afraid to contact us for your special request. We felt like the willow tree was a good representation of our little trio. The willow tree is one of the only trees that will reproduce by simply placing a branch in the dirt! We feel as though our Mother placed us here to grow! And so we are reaching for the sky, growing and embracing a heritage of creativity.
